Recently changed my old laptop over to a MiniPC newer one running WIN11 - lot quicker reacting over wifi using Anydeek- but something I never had before occurred prev with guiding I started to get a "PulseGuide command to mount has failed - guiding is likely to be ineffective", error message- anyone struck this before and know a possible reason

Usually either a driver issue (not installed or not installed correctly) or USB cables aren’t great.
Or this:

EQMod setting if you use EQMod

The cable isn't the issue as worked fine on two occasions, I also put the old computer back on and it worked OK

I had that a few times while using a laptop and PHD2 and just ignored it. I didn't have any issues.

Could in be caused through a power issue :)

Could be low power, when dropping below about 11.5v.
I've had it on occasion but turned out to be a bad USB port on the mini pc & I know someone else where it was a bad USB on the mount. The question is are you getting other errors as well? I had issues like on occasion the mount failed to move when first started & syncing issues from my imaging software. All caused by bad communications to the mount.
Cheers,
Mark
