Hi all,
Just out of curiosity, I have captured close to 8 hours of M16 in narrowband, would there be any benefit if I further captured more data in broadband? I don't do PIS just stack with Deep Sky Stacker and Photoshop to process...
Many thanks in advance.
Paul

All depends on the quality of your data ( signal to noise )
More data will definitely help even with Narrowband
Give Startools a go for post processing , it’s very user friendly, you don’t have to be rocket scientist to get a good result in less than an hour or so
Startools works well with Deep Sky Stacker , I’ve used them both for 6 years now

Thanks Martin for you valued input.....I normally spend between 10 and 20 hours on a target over multiple nights and was curious about the blending...Will look at StarTools!

Just thinking about my question, I was actually asking if blending Narrowband and Broadband images would it produce a better overall composition? Meaning better shades of colour and clarity?

Thanks again....
