From DPReview.com, I just viewed a comparison of some Image Enhancing software:

The difference exhibited is amazing. Make sure you view down into the article where they show the scene comparison of several men on a ferry. In particular the 6th and 9th image in the article, which are excerpts from the 5th image.... WOW !. Scroll your mouse over the various image options on the individual image to see the comparison between the software tested. There's a clear winner, which I'll leave to you all to decide.

As a result of using this kind of software I see more and more astro images that break the laws of physics regarding resolution. I would hate to be an AP competition judge.
I'd like to hear how the DMA judges are planning to deal with this problem.
