sharp cap polar align

Greetings

Just a quick message to say how impressed I am with the polar alignment tool in sharpcap.

I have been relying on tutorials to get my head around it. Is there any one who has put together a "how to for SH SCap polarlignment, just to make sure I have it right. Also anyone who has screen shot their final alignment in sharp cap and would be willing to share it would also be helpful for me.

Hi Petra - I use it all the time. Polar Alignment is really easy with Sharpcap. Just follow the on screen instructions and you cannot go wrong. There are youtube videos that explain the process.

I have made a shed with a roll off roof so it's easy for me as I have the floor marked where i set up. I always start off with it about 45 degrees to the left or right so when it does the second movement after the first set of images I can move it back to the home position for the last and final adjustment. This seems to make it easy to go to my first object and plate solve.
