Avalon has these low height observatories since many years. Before my wife agreed on a proper observatory building in the garden, I tried to sell her this idea. The problem is that they are all prohibitively expensive unless you have deep pockets that is why so many amateurs go the DIY :thumbsup:

I'm guessing that as I have a standard stepladder in my observatory it doesn't count as "low height"?
