My daughter has a problem and turned to me for help but unfortunately I am not qualified or experienced in matters containing her problem.
She has an XP-Pen Artist 24 Pro unit which when drawing a straight line the line will jump about 25 mm ...it seems to happen at specific intervals as opposed to entirely random...
She reinstalled drivers, checked all connections, restarts etc but so far nothing has worked..she changed the computer and the issues still presents..I mentioned cables can be an issue which I guess we will replace but I thought I would ask here given the experts we have who may be able to make suggestions.
Any help will be very much appreciated.

My daughter advised she has done the following.
Reinstalled driver 1.
Reinstalled driver 2.
(Drivers weren't both installed at once).
Reset to default both driver settings.
Recalibrated tablet several times.
Tried on 3 different computers (two of which know to work previously).
Tried 2 different leads (that worked previously) on those 3 computers.
Turned tablet off and on.
Moved tablet to another room.
Also tested all 3 pens on other tablet, they aren't the problem.
Thanks for looking.

Okay, just had a quick look at the unit online.
Couple of questions:
Does the problem happen in one area of the screen?
Does the problem only happen in straight line mode or also when doing free curves?
Does the gap show up on the computer screen as well as the tablet?
I've used a few (much cheaper!) stylus/tablet systems in the past, and problems are usually mechanical, not software.

My daughters reply
1- Jittering happens anywhere on the screen
2- don't know what you mean by straight line mode, the cursor jitters when drawing straight lines, curved lines or just moving the cursor around
3- don't know what you mean by gap, the pen cursor shakes, jumps and drops out, mouse works fine.
It is very likely that it is something mechanically wrong with the tablet. It's like the screen isn't registering the pen input correctly.
Also tried turning off pen pressure and tilt

I guess it's possible that the unit has developed a fault / is a DOA and might be a warranty job too Alex.

Alex, from my middle of the night research, I found this Utube video on Stylus adjustment, it might help.
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=uC3ZHroezM0
There is a sensitivity adjustment inside the Pen, which requires disassembly to access, but details are shown. It might be a good idea to source a backup or replacement stylus. I assume some sort of calibration routine is required.
Good luck.
