Hey Guys

My Pixinsight won't work anymore! gets to the initializing main window and doesn't respond after that.

Anyone have any ideas? I've tried a re install but that was a no go as well....emailed the Pixinsight team a few days ago but haven't had a response back as yet.

So had to go back to version 8.8.4 to get It to work again.....maybe no support for win 8.1 anymore? don't know as yet.

If using Windows, only Win 10 and 11 are supported for the current versions of PI

Yes that is true....oh I take back what I said because It seems the earlier version 8.8.4 doesn't work either.

It initiates fine and loads modules but then can't open an image....back to the drawing board before I dump Pi in the bin.

do you need to apply to renew your subscription password. i have had to do that, you cant just copy your logon approval file anymore

Don't know why that would be the case David? and I sent them a message a week ago but have had a response as yet.

This all happened before the new release by the way.....just stopped work.

Louie check your subscription first then your java version on your PC.



Touching wood. I downloaded the latest version yesterday and it still runs fine on my win7 machine.

I updated to 1.8.9-1 today and everything seems to be working (Win 10).
