Hi everyone,

The Cone Nebula from the ASV's LMDSS in Heathcote, Victoria over several months.

17 hours total made up of 11 hours of Luminance, 2 hours each of R,G,B. 10" f/6.8 CDK, 1600mm camera and AP900 mount.

A challenge in colour balance, saturation, sharpening and contrast.

Processed in Pixinsight with some adjustments in Photoshop.

Clear skies.

That looks very nice indeed John, lovely colours and textures, all looks about right to me  that wouldn't get that high up from central VIC either, so extra nice work there

Can you put a larger version at your flickr page so we can really enjoy it?
