This mini PC I purchased is powered by a USB-C 12V DC 2amp power pack.
I want to plug it into the Pegasus Mini Power Box so I purchased a 45w 12V DC 2amp DC to USB-C converter but it didnt work. When I plugged it in the power light on the mini PC went a solid blue which indicates that the PC is on but all I got was a blank screen.
Not too sure what it could be. Any electrical wizards out there that know of any DC 5.5 x 2.1mm Female, to USB Type C Jack Converter that may work or possibly even making one up?
I know the PC doesn't support PD.

I heard this one works on that PC:

Got it from a thread on CloudyNights that I saw a while back.

Yep I saw that one but it’s on Amazon Canada and doesn’t ship to Australia.
Hi Chrys,
As you know, the MQ2 input is not PD compliant, however, the converter you bought is so it is defaulting to 5v output.
I'm not using a barrel plug like you so I never searched for a ready-made one. I use an XT30 plug/sockets for 12v so I made my own by cutting the lead from the supplied power supply and soldering a plug to it.
I also soldered a matching socket to the original plugpack so I can still use it when needed.

Interesting, I might need to try make up one then but with USB-C!
Easy as. Just make sure you get the polarity right and you'll be fine.

I ordered a bunch of these from AliX :-
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32955309866.html
They’re short enough as my Pegasus Astro Pocket PowerBox Advance sits under my GMK NUCBox, and furthermore I like the 90deg elbow bend for the DC2.1
And I also made my own from snipping the original USB-C cable that came with the computer and just soldered on an Oyaide DC2.1 plug. I really love these Oyaide plugs.
(Not certain why the pix is upside down!)

Interesting. I would defs need a longer one as my computer and powerbox are on the opposite site of my setup. Think about 30cm should do it.
