2.5" Power Linear Focuser from Megrez 90 FD. In very good condition. Dual-speed 10:1 heavy duty focuser.
Purchased for a project, but I have since bought a Moonlite focuser.
This is of very sturdy construction with a very nice 10:1 focusing action, however it is best suited to visual use without placing excessive weight at the eyepiece (eg. camera or bino-viewer). Reason is that mechanical support for the focusing tube is provided solely by the rack and pinion dovetail.
I have measured the base using a vernier caliper and it measures 76.00 inside and 88.00 outside where the focuser fits to the telescope tube.
It does not have the same build quality as a Moonlite or Feathertouch. Best for visual only with a diagonal and eyepiece. The focusing tube is not fully supported so will flex under the weight of a camera or bino-viewer, particularly when the binoviewer axis is at anything other than a vertical orientation.

Thanks for looking, Graham
