I have tried it once to see if it got the same results as APT.
And it did.
I haven't used NINA for anything yet.

Polar align (Sharpcap)
Framing Assitant to get your target
Slew to target
Focus
Plate Solve using ASTAP
or you can create a new Sequance in the new Sequance Builder

N.I.N.A. rookie here but big fan. +1 to Simon's workflow for an intro. I've been using the traditional sequencer still and still automated enough to work like a charm - I only Polar align manually, double check autoguide focus manually (one time), but all else automated.

Initial setup may require a bit of time, e.g. ASTAP Downsample settings, focus steps, etc. but once done, even the traditional scheduler is mostly automated. New scheduler even more so, but more complex.

Hello Trevor

Once it is setup all I do is slew to a target, either via the mounts software or NINA, select the plate solve tab and take a photo and NINA does the rest. I will slew to where it " thinks " it should be.

That's it.

You could try the nightly build. It has sequence2 which is very good and, for me, bug free.

Very happy with NINA. No longer have a guide scope, no 3 star alignment none of that- just GoTo a target, plate solve and sync- keep doing till it’s within tolerance, and then start the sequence

Works well with EQMOD.
