View Full Version here: : Pixelmath - Narrow band and RGB
My filter set turns up next week (only took 6 months).
So am doing homework on how to combine Ha data (taken with a mono camera) onto a RGB image (taken with an OSC).
Pixelmath (Pixinsight) would do it.
I need to study Pixelmath, but can't seem to find a 'definitive' resource.
Just bits & pieces. It seems like everyone is in the same boat.
Any leads?

Pkay, I've not done it in pixelmath, but it's a piece of cake with the script NBRGBcombine. Just combine your RGB, open the script, point it at the RGB when it asks for an RGB image, then point it at your ha image where it asks for a nb image, and tell it which channel to add it to (red, I guess is the common one for ha addition)
Edit: but I will also be following here for pixelmath tips!
Thanks JP.
I had a play with NBLRGB and it's way easier.

I haven't done it a lot, but I followed this:

Great lead Chris.
I am now making great headway and have started a new thread for Pixelmath in the PI forum.
The expression editor 'syntax' section (within pixelmath) has all of the functions, operators, punctuators and symbol definitions.
It is now a matter of playing with the code...
