My daughter contacted me today.

This is no big deal for most of you. I have not seen her for thirty three years.
We hope to get together soon. We will remain in contact. there is so much lost time to make up for.

Thanks for the comments and encouragement. Everything else just fades to insignificance when it comes to your children. I intend to make up for lost time and not dwell on the past. Circumstances beyond my control separated us, I am very happy now to only look to the future. A very large empty space in my life will now be restored.

I have Bert on the phone as I type this.

He has rang me and asked me to post this for him as he has no access to a computer where he is at Katherine in the Northern Territory.

He is finally spending time with his daughter and he says 'everything is excellent'. 'Even the sky is incredible'.

"She is a terrific person and we are getting along great".

Bert says thanks in advance for any comments made and he will reply when he returns home in a weeks time.

Yes a timely reminder to us all, not to waste the most precious commodity of all - time. It's limited, it runs in only one direction (so far) and is continually reducing down to zero...don't waste a second, grab life with both hands and choke the most out of it.
