Is there anyway to use an SCT screw thread (2 inch version) on a refractor?
Is there an easy way to adapt it?

Mark,
No, not easily.
The SCT thread is a 2"x 24 tpi thread which doesn't match the standard filter threads.
I use some of my SCT accessories on my ED80. Two methods: I had a special adaptor machined (I think it was 55m x 0.75 female with the SCT external thread) this replaced the eyepiece holder on the end of the draw tube.
The other was to use a 2" male to SCT thread adaptor (it was an Orion prime focus adaptor)
Either method then allowed you fit the SCT accessories ( I used the Meade SCT flip mirror)
If it's just a SCT filter you're trying to use, what do you have to fit to the other end??

I had a custom 2 inch adapter made from a forum member first link below and I can screw a filter in and a sct f6.3 reducer the other end.
2nd link is a photo.
