Hi All
I was trying to get the scope and computer talking, this went well.
Then I made up a straight cable to replace the curly cord between the scope and Audiostar handset. When I powered up, there was a pop and no power to the LED light on the scope.
I had the wires for this replacement cord in the correct order, but, reversed them
ie should be connected from pin 1 to pin 8 etc, but, I connected pin 1 to pin 1.
I can't see obvious burned tracks, in the scope power board or handset.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
I suspect I will be talking to Bintel and keeping my fingers crossed.
Thanks for any help.
Philip
