I've just downloaded PHD and it seems to work ok, but I'd like to work out exactly what the mount is doing and what corrections are being made. When PHD generates a log file, what are the units of the figures that appear?
Time seems to be in seconds. What about dx and dy ---pixels?
RA duration? Ra distance--arc sec?

Your log will be like this..

PHD Guide 1.5 pre2 -- 03/14/0722:50:12

DEC angle -0.1, rate 0.0035, Dec mode 1

Frame = acquisition #
Time = # sec since start
dx and dy = distance in pixels in X and Y directions of camera
Theta = angle star forms from lock point to current position
RADuration = Duration of pulse in RA msec
RADistance = Amount of displacment in RA only in pixels (would be
equal to dx or dy if camera is squared to RA/Dec)
DecDuration = Duration of pulse in Dec msec
DecDistance = Amount of displacement in Dec only in pixels
