Hello I have aCD of P.S. CS3. .It will no longer load up and work.due to licensing. Only 30 days then locks me out.how can I get it to work . Tony..
Tony unless you can provide the activation code I expect it will not let you use the product.
If you acquired it with a liscence however you should have all that information to activate it again IMHO.

Contact Adobe with your order/purchase details and they'll sort it out for you.

Thanks Leon.I here it is the most pirated and hacked software out there. https://helpx.adobe.com/au/creative-suite/kb/activation-fails-cs3-acrobat-8.html .this link explains why now I can’t reactivate..over the years II have activated it on other computers.but old age has made it impossible to do now..
What you say is true Tony, I know of some who have a pirated copy of the earlier versions of PS.
Seems like you don't have much of a chance of retrieving your copy Tony.
It is a bugger when you buy software and then they change the rules.

I went to install my CS6 a few months ago and Adobe has revoked my license so I could not install it on my computer. Lucky I had an image of my HDD with CS6 installed and activated.
Adobe is trying to get everyone to purchase their subscription to Creative Cloud which I won't be doing.
Come to the dark side Luke. You know you must!

Hello if you tap on that link I got .log in to adobe. They will give you another activation code. You have to remove your old CS3 software. The they give you 2 lots of the software to download.you install it use your new activation code .and away you go. I am not real software switched on . I had a go but aI failed . The other choice they give you is to upgrade to latest software and pay.$$$$$$$$$$$..

It indeed costs EUR 12 (A$19) a month. If that is too much, get Affinity Photo (EUR 55 == A$80) once, no subscription. I have it and most PS functions are the same.
Other (or additional) options are Dartable and GIMP 2.10 (both free).

In Australia photoshop is currently $14.29 a month. About the cost of 3 coffees!

Have a look at the latest PaintShopPro from Corel.
Does everything PS does with one off cost.

Seriously, try GIMP it is [legit] free and pretty much does everything you want it to. its not what it was some years back where it was behind photoshop, it's come a loooooooooooooooooooooooooong way.

Many Thanks for all the feedback. Got me thinking ..Tony..🙂🙂
Which may be a lot for some ($170 a year).
Also consider that Tony already paid and bought the software before. Then Adobe stole it from him (switched it off) and made him jump through hoops to get it back. All to convince him to pay more for the upgrade.
Just imagine your car dealer taking your car after a few years and pulling a similar stunt.

The pricing plan is geared towards professional photographers who use it for commercial gain, not your average amateur astronomer.......

Hello Tony,
The photography plan (Photoshop for desktop + Lightroom) is $14.29/mo. See the first column at https://www.adobe.com/au/creativecloud/photography/compare-plans.html
The big differences between the plans (eg Photography vs Lighhtroom) are: 1) cloud storage limit (20Gb vs 1Tb) and 2) the Lightroom plan only includes Photoshop for ipad. Not sure why anyone other than a professional with an ipad would want to buy the Lightroom plan.
I've been on the Photography plan for years because I don't need any of their other applications.
Marcus
PS: And just to make choices harder still, the link above looks very different when viewed on a phone rather than a desktop

In a case of Adobe trying to build a confusopoly pricing structure, don't look at just the "Photoshop" plan which is $30 a month, the "Photographers" plan has PS and lightroom for $15.
If I did not have some very handy PS tools I would not be paying my current $15 (Not quite $15 but when you are talking about less then $1 per month I cant be bothered writing the lot all the time)

Paul,
Have you tried any of your PS tools in PaintShopPro??
I know that many of the plug-ins work....

 And the irony is I don't buy coffees any more - too expensive! A working week of coffees used to cost me half a tank of petrol! :P

Have you had a look here?
https://helpx.adobe.com/au/creative-suite/kb/cs3-product-downloads.html
A while ago Adobe released a whole bunch of old software and serial numbers for free download and also so you don’t bother them with re registrations etc.
I downloaded these and installed some. All worked. I didn’t install ver 3 as I had ver 6 but I do have it on DVD. Legit not pirated.
The link above was something I found which seems similar.
If the link is no good, I’ll be back home in a couple of days and can double check I still have the software and the correct version.
Hope this may help.
I’ll post my findings.
Cheers,
Damien
