Hello everyone,
need more help with DSS

Collected some data of NGC1360, Robin's Egg Nebula.

About 70min of Ha and 60min of OIII .... 10min subs.

However, DSS not stack the subs, but only one... not enough stars apparently (7)

I see many stars... see single sub. Tried to click and do it manually with no luck.
Any other way to stack them?

Thanks for any help.

Reduced the 'Stack after register' from 100% to 98%

No idea why, but worked. Obviously need much more data for this object... but only 15km from the CBD this is what I get for 2h. Used the 6" RC with 314L+ HaOO

Hmmm, my lack of processing skill :screwy::rofl: :D

It's an Ha and OIII OIII .... false RGB. Yet to learn proper processing...

and focus... and get an obsi so my back not hurt to set up... have permanent polar alignment... .... and tuned worm gears...

I should stop whinging... life is a non stop learning :D

and embarrassments

Cheers,
Mick

Yep I am learning Ha Oiii RGB also and get similar problems. The red can be from poor colour balance. In Nebulosity ( free trial and only $80) if you use image, RBG combine and try auto colour balance or do your own colour balance you can try different balances.

I often stack only 80 % of subs even after I have checked each fits for bad movement just in case there is one bad shot which throws DSS.i have found combining R with Ha and Oii with B and then plain G seems easiest as a start or hA Oiii and L with an LP or moon glow filter in any combo you like is fun.
