Hi All
Last night I was surfing YouTube and came across a bloke in the states who has put a kodlix n45 mini computer with WiFi on his telescope and was very happy with your the results of.
Has anyone else tried this method yet.

I have done the same with different iterations of Raspberry Pi (Stellarmate/INDI), Intel compute sticks (SGP or INDI) and a NUC (INDI). You can simplify your cabling to a power cable running up to your mount potentially this way and just remote control the mini computer.

Hello Ian
I was having problems with getting images from a ZWO 120mm and a ZWO 290c camera to a computer about 6 meters form the mount.
I bought a Hystou i7 NUC type computer, fixed it just below my mount and connected the ZWO's to that, I ran a USB 2 cable to the desktop and a HDMI cable to another computer.
I control the software on the Hystou via Windows Remote Desktop.
The Hystou has Wifi as well, here is a link.

Hope this helps

I remember when you paid that for just 1Mb of RAM ;) let alone a complete computer

I am using an I5 NUC on my mount to control it and the cameras, apart from anything else the download time for each image is a lot faster as it has USB3 parts and the basic speed to make proper use of them, runs off 12VDC too.
When I am set up away from home I have a wifi router attached to it as well so I can easily remote in to it from my laptop using teamviewer.

Yep, I have been running Raspbian and INDI on a Raspberry Pi for a number of years. I can wirelessly control overything from inside the house and stay nice and warm.
