Two questions if I may, I would like to know what software I need to get my LX200 to track the ISS so as to photograph it , and What software do I need so I could control my scope over the internet? Thanks you John P.

Hi John,

I stumbled across this website today which has Satellite tracking for a LX200, I haven't read it all, but I thought it may help you.

As for remote control over the internet, I have never tried it but I believe a lot of people use TeamViewer software.

Cheers
Bill

You should definitely check out SatTraker by Astronomy Live, it sounds really interesting as it does "real time" tracking. Just be aware that some mounts may not be able to slew fast enough to keep up with whatever you're tracking.

Hi Bill
I found this site when I was looking but it is a dead link, there is no where you can download the software, plus I sispect it was only Windows XP. Thanks for your help.

Cheers John
