I am a mug we all know it but my latest mug act was to change from port 3 to port 4 when it displayed in the ascom table that comes up showing all your mount details...why did I do that?
It was running well with my heq5 I presume using port 3 but I then connected my eq6 and thought changing the port to 4 would give each mount a port.
Well things did not work after that so I thought put it back the way it was...but now when I look there is nothing in the display that seems to cover the port situation...It was there when I changed it but now nothing...all I want to do is change it back to port 3 and get back to the way it was.
Any ideas as to what to do?

Hi Alex

You need to go into the start menu in Windows and go to EQMOD, open that and look for "Setup EQASCOM" - click that and it opens the setup window. The COM port bit is in the middle on the left of that window.

I know there are other ways to get to this but this works without me needing to have the mount and the computer connected.

Thanks Brian much appreciated I will try that when I get back from my medicals.
It is looking clear here I hope I get a chance tonight to use my new stuff.
I had to get up at 4 am yesterday to go to Queenland for medicals and could handle if it is not clear and get some sleep.
Thanks again.
Alex
