Hi Guys

A friend of mine has a laptop which used to run Win, he is not really that computer wise and finds that the now new loaded Win 10 is causing him some grief and and nothing seems to work right for him, well not like it used to.
He took it to some computer wiz  who basically buggered it up for him installed Win 10 and charged him nearly $300.00 :mad2:

So can we save all the documents and other stuff, scrub Win 10 and reinstall Win 8.1 at least

His laptop has no programs that he uses for photos etc and basically just looks up emails once in a wile and uses face book once in a while.

Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
Thanks You

Leon

Hi Leon,

Laptops are usually supplied with a recovery CD/DVD (or a separate partition on the hard drive), this has the Windows Operating System and all the necessary hardware drivers for its motherboard.
Installing a retail copy of Windows without the correct hardware drivers is going to give a world of pain.
I suggest he contact the agents for the Laptop and get another copy of the recovery disk if he has lost the original.
