I just erected a new Hills Hoist! A very Aussie thing to do..... Has anyone else noticed that once you get to about 550mm deep a hole never seems to get deeper???

Big day for us...we became citizens!...

After that, it will be back to unpacking boxes...with maybe a dip in the pool (weather permitting)...

I must admit I felt realy Aussieish today installing a new Car Audio head in my car. I have not done this before and It went well.
Congrats Scott. Now u can put on some thongs, a hat with corks hanging on it, and throw a shrimp/snag or two on the Barbie and relax.

It is great to see clear skies, Comet McNaught here i come..

BTW for an Ex-Indian Citizen like me its also Indian Republic day. A double celebration.

For all my friends down under I wish a Happy Australia Day,

afaik it remembers for arrival of the fleet of the 11 ships (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ships) which sailed from Great Britain (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Great_Britain) in May 1787 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1787) to establish the first European colony in New South Wales (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_South_Wales).

Congratulations Scott - good on ya bloke!

Some local "friends" who moved over here from South Africa a few years ago also became citizens today - they are hanging a new sign outside their shop tomorrow which reads:
"Now PROUDLY Australian owned"

Congrats to all the new Aussies everywhere!
:welcome: :2thumbs:  :gday: :sunny: :fishing: :drink:
