ASCOM 6.3 - failed upgrade???

I'm using a Win7 32bit laptop in the observatory currently running ASCOM 6.1.sp1.

I tried to upgrade to the latest V6.3 but keep getting error messages....

Has anyone had success with a 32bit machine??

I have used v6.3 on three 32-bit Win7 machines, no issues. Most were probably clean installs and not upgrades.

Did you try removing v6.1 first before installing v6.3?

No I didn't....
The blurb says it will upgrade from previous versions.....

I'll give it a go later...
