As you probably already know, the original PST was designed as a visual instrument and as such it has proved very difficult to be used for solar imaging.
The usual "trick" is to remove the lens from a x2 barlow and drop that into the eyepiece holder - to increase the backfocus distance and allow the camera to come to focus.
I just found that Siebert Optics can supply a ready made PST camera adaptor. Neat!

So that cheap and nasty 2x Barlow that I sold a few weeks ago and hadn’t used in near a decade would have been useful!!

I can say that a QHY5LII will focus fine because of its 1.25” shape. I have a theory that I might be able to get my ASI120MM to focus by removing the 1.25” adapter and replacing it with hard foam and a 1.25” hole allowing another 10mm of in focus.
