Mini PC, or Not, for Obs Imaging

I am wondering if i have too many eggs in my one computing basket, as for years now i have been relying on my aging Acer E5-511.

If all you want to do is use it for us image capture, just get a new reasonably cheap laptop and it’ll do the job just fine. It’s what I’ve done without issue.
