hi gang- im considering the 'orion sky-glow' as a DSLR DSO imaging filter, any comments on this?i also notice the 'meade' broadband is greenish in the ads, and the orion broadband is purple/red- wonder why? anyway- from what in reading the meade is 'variable' to transmission rates due to quality control, and its also made in china, i cast fond specifics on the orion other the transmission is higher and its korean made- sounds like the orion is better (and cheaper)- i just wonder why the 'color' is so dofferent both being broadband- any suggestion as the better of the 2?- thx- john

Hi Harpspitfire

The Orion Broardband LPR are pretty good i do use one of these sometimes, but i have found the Hutech Light Suppression Filters are far superior.
I use these with the Canon Lenses for widefield Imaging.
And seeing you live in that part of the world it will easier to get hold of, we have to have them shipped out to ozzie land.
Cheers Leon
