This is great news and Software Bisque should be commended for the bold investment. It took time but I think the did a great job compared to the old TheSky6.
It's a shame ASCOM was build on top of Windows only technology - it didn't have to be that way. The whole thing needs to move to a generic Network/TCP basis. I think it will happen, but it will take time.
