Photoshop CS3 -Apply Image problem

Guys,
Anyone using CS3???
I can't seem to get the Image Apply/ Blend function to bring up the option of divide??
Am I missing something?

What version of Photoshop do you use and does it have the divide function in Apply Images/ Blending mode......

I use Photoshop CS5 and the divide option is at the bottom of the drop down list.

Hi Ken,

Not sure if this will work because I don't know what you are trying to do.

In the calculations dialog box, there is a multiply function with an invert checkbox on each layer or you can invert the image and use multiply in apply image.

It appears the basic problem is that the required action is not supported in CS3 - bumma!

Interesting... I'll have a good look and see if it can be used.

The task is to make an artificial solar flat (when using a spectroheliograph) then divide the light image by this flat. Easier to do within the one program (PS) than by exporting to other imaging programs....

(The reference doc is 1.3Mb PDF but if anyone is interested I can forward a copy)

Just advised that the divide function is not available in CS4 either.....

It appears that CS5 (or above) is needed for the divide command......
