Building Time!

12" Dob needs permanent home........too much time used moving the bugger..... have site selected.......concrete base with rock walls 1 metre high, circular......either geodesic ply sheathed dome or traditional metal sheet dome...... are there any gore patterns available for a 2.4m dia dome that anyone knows of:question:? Will also convert dob mount to a traditional steel mount.

You'd probably be better with a roll off shed on rails or a set of wheels one the dob base.. Simply because the eye height for a dob is 5 foot and that would make for a low roof.
