Hi all,
I have two identical laptops, one I use in the office and the other is my observatory laptop. I upgraded to Win 10 Pro on both without issues.
I recently let the major Anniversary Update for Win 10 run on the office laptop and there were no problems. So I then thought I could safely let the observatory laptop also do the Anniversary update but there I ran into a problem.
On completion of the update process Win 10 informed me that it had removed the Pinpoint Astrometric Engine as it was incompatible with Win 10.
I think that is a bit strange as this did not occur with the upgrade from Win 7 Pro to Win 10 Pro.
I have emailed DC3 Dreams about this and will update you when I get a reply.
I thought Pinpoint users might like a heads up about this.
Ian
