Stellarium & Fedora 24

Hi all,
I upgraded to Fedora 24 a few days ago and now find that Stellarium does not draw the sky correctly. It draws a lighter wedge of sky across the lower left third of the screen.

Does anyone have it running on Fedora 24 successfully?
or, have any ideas?

For the record,
New video drivers, OS updates and Stellarium updates had no effect.
Seems it might be specific to my quite old hardware.

A work around I discovered (by chance) to be effective was to turn off the atmosphere effects.
