Currently i am running SGP on my laptop in the observatory and it works just fine with my new ASI1600 camera, however, given that i need to venture out there in the cold from time to time, how can i set up Teamviewer or some form of remote monitoring and control.
I would like to bring the main laptop back into the house and use a small form factor unit in the observatory. I have a small HP Stream laptop that i used in the past for dslr BYEOS imaging, and i coukd stick that in the observatory, it can run SGP but lacks the necessary USB3 ports for my powered Hub and the camera connection (camera has to be direct connect). I was considering a NUC box as they tend to have a fair number of USB3 connections. Any advice from people who have setup something like this? I would be relying on wifi extension, and i need a fair amount of storage space as the 1600 files are usually 32meg each and short sub imaging can pile up a lot of these quickly.
