Hi All,
Had a go at M33 which has low surface brightness, so tried ISO-1600 using the Canon EOS300D (modded) + the ED80, forgot to do the darks and used some old ones but this seems to have left dark blotches in the Pix. that will teach me to do the right thing and take darks at the same time as the Pix., anyway its not bad and the colour is about right, Im going to try the Skywatcher-102 on this subject (bigger Scope)and see if any brighter Pix. come out of it.

9 x 5 Min. Exp. at ISO-1600, DF removed, guided- LX200/F10 + MX7C.

Hi All,
Thanks for the comments, and Houghy I looked at your Pix. nothing wrong with it lots of detail Etc. was this taken with a modded Canon, not using CWB ??.

Jim nice work on a toughy ! you could select the background with the colour tool in PS and desaturate the backround a touch .
