I need something running USB3 ports and a fast SSD drive to capture solar images at high frame rates (>600fps) from the ASI 174MM.
Any recommendations?
(I have enough other computers for processing etc. just need to capture.)

Samsung have some nice portable usb3 ssd drives which I saw last weekend. Probably not the cheapest, but they are very portable.

Ken my 2yo Tosh has usb3 standard, dead easy to change the original HDD for the SSD variety.
Just had a look at the Toshiba Aust site, the current laptops, at least the ones I looked at all have multiple USB 3 ports..

The missus has a Surface Pro 3... Pro 4 just came out in Australia last month.

IMO Processing power (I 7) & enough ram (8 GIG) dedicated graphics (2 GIG) would be more benificial
