Hi everyone.

I am wondering if anyone knows of any software that automatically aligns and stretches/ shrinks your RGBHaS2O3 frames.

doing this manually in Photoshop CS6 is a headache and time consuming.

often frames obtained from narrow band filters and RGB filters do not overlap 100% and there is a 2% difference in size of the images. I know this is due to the differences in focal lengths using each of the filters.

If anyone has any suggestions please let me know.

Regards

John

One free and pretty good piece of software is DSS (DeepSkyStacker). Best part is it is free :-)

It'll align and combine your images but you're probably still better off editing it on PS.

Any (there are many) astro processing software will stack the way you ask, some free some not. CCD stack is probably the reference standard, but it isnt free.
