MaxIM saving issue

I am using MaxIM DL5, and having saving issues - whenever I want to save for example a test image, MaxIM crashes. Autosaves are fine, but manual saves kill it EVERY time.

Is there a bug fix for this?

The last time you successfully manually saved an image, was it writing to an external hard drive?

No, internal as usual. Been doing it since day 1, and hasn't bothered me much since I do batch Autosave, but if I get a NICE test shot, I like to keep it to integrate it into the stack! Alas, it went bye-byes... 10 minutes down :(
