I was just wondering if anyone has purchased this special issue from National Geographic? Sounds like it's a decent read, but I haven't had a chance to check it out yet.
I'm also interested in Beyond Our Galaxy, so any thoughts on that would be great too :)
:thanx:
Hi Billi :),
Thank you for the heads up, this is brilliant. I must post this on our facebook page as I'm sure it'll help many people on there with the learning curve in astronomy. :thanx:

Well that sucks :( I was hoping it was an Australian copy.
I expected it would mainly be for N.H. people but there's sure to be stuff we can all enjoy :). I hope! So I'm still excited to have a look. And if it's written by Andrew Fazekas (I have a feeling it will be ? as he writes much of the nightsky stuff for Nat Geo) then it should be a great read. So many books are based for N.H., I think we're used to it now aren't we *sigh* .

There were four copies of this added to the magazine shelves at our supermarket (Coles) so I'm guessing it'll be around for a while.

I finally bought a copy today :) definitely far from disappointed with the information in it.
I recommend this to any space newbies who are looking for information presented in an easy-to-understand way. The way it is written makes for pleasant reading, too.
Suzy- it looks like it was written by Nadia and Frank Drake.
