Hi
I face a problem with Skyx pro Tpoint automated calibration.
I have connected the Skyx to
- Skywatcher HEQ5 mount via ASCOM
- SBIG ST2000xm CCD camera
HEQ5 is daftly polar aligned with the polar scope of the mount.
I slew the telescope to Deneb. I take a photo with Skyx camera addon, then with the joystick controller I move the mount so that Deneb is centered in the field of view.
I save the photo and open Image Link in Skyx.
I perform a successful astrometric solution and then synchronize the telescope to the linked photo.
After that I start Tpoint automated calibration with 123 samples.
Calibration is performed successfully for all sample points. All sky database is used to perform the astrometric solution for each point.
Then the super model is applied.
I press the Finish button to exit Tpoint.
In order to check the Tpoint model applied is OK, I slew the telescope to a target M57 and take a photo.
But M57 is not in the field of view.
The telescope is pointing far away from M57....
Normally I would expect M57 to be in the center of the CCD field of view.
Could you check the Tpoint settings I have configured? Is there a mistake I have done???

Are there any special settings I need for EQMOD in order to work successfully with Tpoint???
This is how I connect to the mount from Skyx
Telescope->telescope setup->mount->mount setup->choose-> ASCOM MOUNT
then I select EQMOD HEQ5/6 to configure the mount
Thank you
Konstantinos
