Sorry guys...the PDF is 13MB and too big to upload as over the 500k limit. It is a big review....15 pages.

It will be on several sites soon as it is submitted. Stargazers Lounge allowed the 13MB upload so there in the eyepiece forum. Should be on CN and DocterDReviews soon and AstronomyConnect in a bit.
I tried submitting to the contribute@iceinspace.com.au and the email got rejected. So maybe an admin here can help out.
Review is called "The Baader Planetarium Morpheus".

OK. Lightened up the graphics in a new version of the PDF and it is attached to the 1st post.

Very interesting that they largely seem to live up to the hype.

Yes. Was interesting. Although those glow in the dark graphics did nothing for me...

Excellent work and review as usual Bill. Optically as good as a Pentax XW. Praise doesn't get much better then that. So... how many limbs will I need to sell to get one of these then?

Or 245 Euros at Teleskop Service. Either way you're talking around A$400 delivered. Presumably the local retail price will be similar.
I'll need to wait for someone to buy one and sell it again later. Come on, Flash!

This eyepiece has to be better than XW as brand new Pentax XWs can be had for less than $400 shipped from Kokusai Kohki.

I doubt they'll care much about the tiny Australian market. In Europe and the US they're cheaper than Pentax XW and Tele Vue Delos.

Is the Australian market that small? I have no idea. I would just presume that with your dark sites in the interior it would be heaven on Earth for amateur astronomy.
Very much astro heaven, but with a population less than one-tenth of the US or one-twentieth of the EU, this is not a big market by global standards.

Yes, in the US:
Delos $340
Pentax $359 (occasional retailer selling for less, but most do not)
Morpheus $239
Last word is that they will be in the US in November, except for the 17.5mm, which will be here in December.
I'm sure they will get to Europe at least a month earlier, and to Baader dealers in Oz about a month later than the US (unless the Baader distributor in Oz is favored).

The problem with the interior is that it will swallow you and never spit you out again :) Also, that it is a long way away from where most people live.
I'd wager that the majority of Aussie stargazers are plagued by light pollution to some degree and are regularly driving up to an hour or so to get to darker skies.
Plus, there are only 24 million people here, so the market has to be rather small.
