hi everyone

just a question

i noticed that bintel are selling a televue powermate barlow (i am looking at the 2 inch 2x )

one has the powermate name and the other has the word big on it

what i was wondering is what the difference is between these ep's besides the obvious (price :) ) or am i missing the obvious
:D :abduct: :help3:

In short , one is a barlow and the other is a powermate.
They achieve the same objective but by different optical design.
The powermate does not extend the eye relief of eyepieces as a barlow can.

No the Powermate is the better design. It has better contrast and optical performance. I have both and the barlow while good, is not as good as the powermate. Get the powermate.

if you can afford it.

The orion shorty plus is a good barlow for a much cheaper price, if budget is short.
