Gradually getting the observatory software sorted out. I now have the NEQ6 Pro running off the laptop (ASCOM, EQMOD, Stellariumscope, and Stellarium) via Shoestring cable. Testing last night it was clear that my mount alignment was slightly (not much) off and I'd like to fix that up as well. I have downloaded EQAlign, but have not tried to use it yet. Any opinions on best (or easiest) alignment software to go along with this setup? I will probably want to plate solve at some point but its not a priority at the moment, but would Astrotorilla kill two birds with one stone (so to speak)?

Astrotortilla can definitely help with the alignment. I'm unsure how accurate it is at it compared to other tools, but it certainly works.
I'm also in the process of setting up my observatory and when I get to refining the PA, I might look at doing some tests.
Or perhaps someone else will chime in with something better. :)

Yep. Use the drift align tool in OpenPHD.

i use alignmaster and find it easy and fast, and not terribly expensive.

If you use alignmaster (I do cause its quick) then I can send you a file for more stars than what the software has.
