Laptop Suggestions

Hi,

I've been looking into getting a laptop for uni and photo editor use and I'm thinking of getting a macbook(air/pro) for it but the thing is I would use it for ap as well like for autoguiding, eqmod, webcam ap etc. Question is, are there as much as programs available on mac as there are in windows?

Anyone here a uses a mac for all ap?

Obviously I can't say whether you would use it but I use it for astroimaging and processing. I do not have a goto mount so do not need it for that. It should be pointed out that there is more software available for Mac's as you can run Windows, with appropriate software, as well as OSX and Unix based software, however, I only use OSX software.
