opening canon 6d files in PS6

Hello,

So i went to open a 6d RAW image in PS6 (Adobe Camera Raw to be specific) and it wouldn't work. I had a few things out of date, worked fine for the 5D mk2 though. So I downloaded DNG 8.2, but that's not enough. I ran the adobe application manager 8, thats not enough. Im stuck, how can i open these RAW files in photoshop? Thankyou.

I just use Canon DDP to convert to tiff and have no probs thereafter

Narayan, thanks, that's one way yes. I prefer to work with the raw converter. I managed to do it, I needed Camera Raw 8.8 for Photoshop CS6, here:http://blogs.adobe.com/crawlspace/2011/03/keeping-photoshop-up-to-date.html#notconnected
