Besides IRIS and IP, is there another software which can subtract darks and flats? i find IRIS is quite hard to use even reading the online tutorial.
thanks

Good question Eric, I am in that boat too. I know Images Plus will do it, (evidently), and I can't work IRIS, my French is poor. I understand MaxDSLR will only do FITS files, which is OK, until you shoot a heap of them and at 46mb each, they make the poor computer groan.

Hi Eric,
I use Registax to create darks and flats and it automatically applies them. Its very easy to use.
Hi eric have you tried deepsky stacker , its free!

Eric:
Iris isnt all that hard..check out the tutorials on Jim Solomon's site
(google will find it)-his atrophotography cookbook
IRIS is clunky yes but it will do what you need it to do..and the price is right
