The disappearing Eyepiece

My newly acquired RKE 28mm I got from another IIS member recently made for another rapid sock removal last night when I put it in the 10" dob and pointed at M42:eyepop:

Maybe I should wear sandals, not thongs over my socks when trying out new EPs.
