Epson Cash Back offer

Epson have a $200 cash back offer on the R1800 (http://www.epson.com.au/products/inkjet/stylusphotor1800.asp) printer. Before you race out to buy, be aware that they sell for around $1030 (RRP is $1375). With cash back you pay $830. This is no ordinary inkjet printer. It's a full bleed A3+ (prints right to the paper edge) pigment ink based printer (most cheapies use dye based inks which are prone to fading). It comes with a roll feed as well as the usual sheet feed so you can print landscape photographs longer than an A3 sheet. The print quality is outstanding and the prints are light fast (non fading). The A4 version (R800) is also available but has only $100 cash back. Wow, nice one Phil. How much are the ink cartridges though?
and how often will it go through them?

Not sure of the consumable costs Mike, a mate has one, he may be able to give me an answer. Low cost printing it isn't that's for sure so if you're after a cheap alternative to kiosk printing this isn't it. There are aftermarket ink feed kits to replace the cartridge feed system.
