Hi All,
I am using eqmod to control my azeq6 for the 1st time, when i connect all looks good except the local standard time does match computer time, at the moment it is out by over 2 hrs.I am using the correct time zone, +9.30 hrs and lat and long are also correct. The synscan controller is in pc direct mode.

Please help, i don't know why. :help:

I've never seen that specific problem before but I have experienced a 'bug' where when you input a new lat/lon and hit save it reverts the lat/lon to what was there before and not the values you just entered. I had this problem recently and didn't realise it hadn't saved, and wasn't using, the correct values. Might be worth double checking as it might be doing something similar with the timezone.

Thanks Hugh, i've checked and reloaded the coordinates but it has not changed anything. Would uninstalling and reloading help?

Are you sure you're not looking at the Local Sidereal Time (LST), George? That is what EQMOD reports. This is the RA of the meridian.

No problem George - it's an easy thing to get mixed up!
