Hi,
my recent purchase of a Takahashi TSA120 has reinvigorated my interest in visual astronomy. Whilst this buy cleaned out my discretionary $ well and truly, I'm beginning to think about upgrading my eyepieces over the next year or so.
I currently have a 35mm Panoptic - love it.... and a set of Saxon Hyperion clones.
My choice of eyepieces is restricted by the fact that I have severe astigmatism and must wear specs to observe - even at tiny exit pupils. It's bad enough that if I look at a star unaided I see 2 stars joined by a short line!! I therefore need long eye relief eyepieces at all focal lengths. I'm not too fussed about superwide fields as with specs on they are hard to enjoy. 68deg fields seem fine to me.
The Tak is my lifetime scope, I'd like to match it with a set of super contrast eyepieces....any suggestions as to what may fit the bill?
cheers
Gary
