Hi all, well like Tony I received some new optical equipment today.
I got a 5x Televue Powermate and a 9mm Televue Nagler, all in the 1.25"
Here is a shot of them and then there is a shot of some of my collection. Looking forward to using them tonight, and for the first time ever it is not cloudy.
Anyway I am really happy with my new purchase.

Tony it is a 3x Televue barlow, not a powermate, my first acquisition.

RR,
I'm keen to get your impression on the 9 mm Nag...I've thinking about picking up a 7 or 9 mm to bolster my higher power viewing end so I am real curious about you thoughts on your new gear...

Andrew Maxview is a nice wide field EP, you sometime get a little kidney beaning, but it really gives you a sense of flying. I originally bought it when I was doing EP projection into my 5700 Nikon I owned. When I sold it I decided to keep the EP and sometimes use it for looking at nebula.
The Nagler was $439, and really worth the money. tested it last night and was really happy with it. Nice crisp images all the way out to the edge, very good contrast, perfect for planetary stuff.
Wave, the new gear was worth every penny, fantastic powermate. As just described the Nagler is much better than just your run of the mill Meade. Highly recommended.

I'm glad you like the new gear!
I've got an 11 MM T6 Nag and a 2.5X Powermate...both are fabulous!
Can't wait to earn a bit more pocket change and get the 24 Pan and probably the 7 MM Nag...
Hope it is Cloud free for you all weekend...
